Never paddled before? Try Dragon Boating with a free trial. This free trial allows you to come to two (2) trial sessions to try out the sport. After your two free sessions, you'll need purchase a Level 1 membership to continue paddling with our club.
NOTE: Nonmembers Attending Events Policy
Prospective members are welcome to attend up to two complimentary events before joining the Greater Chicago Dragon Boat Club. The trial period events include all club activities, such as dragon boat paddling sessions and fitness events (e.g. Doghouse and Pool Paddling). Members will get precedence over guests for events. The guest’s payment for events, including Doghouse, will be the responsibility of the member who is hosting the guest. Fireworks paddles are reserved for members only. Guests must be at least 18 years old and are required to sign all applicable waivers. Doghouse events are open to members and guests of a specific member, not to other applicants. Members who invite a guest for a paid event must notify Treasurer@chicagodragonboat.com and have them sign up in Gym Master for a free trial.
